The Council is committed to extending public involvement in its business and decision making processes. Members of the public have the opportunity to ask questions at Council meetings on matters of local interest.
Members of the public may ask questions of Members of the Cabinet, including the Leader and Deputy Leaders of the Council and any Chairman of Committees. A maximum of 4 questions in any local government year may be submitted by any person or on behalf of an organisation or business. At any one meeting no person may submit more than 2 questions and no more than 2 such questions may be asked on behalf of an organisation or business.
Once you have asked your question you will be able to ask one supplementary question arising directly out of the original question or the reply.
