This decision will be taken under urgency procedures.
Reason for urgency:The proposed acquisition is a key decision and contains exempt information but the full 28 days’ notice cannot be given due to the urgency of the matter. In accordance with Rule 16, a general exception has been signed by the Chairman of the Overview & Scrutiny Committee and made copies of the notice available at the Council offices and on the website. As a condition of sale, a formal decision is required within 7 working days of agreement of Heads of terms and the acquisition must be completed within 10 working days form the same event. In order to comply with the deadline, the decision needs to be implemented without delay and therefore the decision is not subject to call in.
