We the undersigned petition the council to reject the above application from Ashland Rovers to develop the football pitch on Kingsway Park until permanent adequate parking has been provided. We also request that as the team are using a publicly owned pitch that they work more closely with other users of the park and neighbouring properties before planning is approved.

Parking is at breaking point on Hodgkinson Road and the surrounding car parks. On football match days the disabled bays are full and disabled visitors to the park are abused if they make a complaint about misuse of the bays. This is not acceptable and must be addressed before planning is granted that will increase the number of supporters of the team.
